This course prepares instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses.
To participate, you must:
- Hold a current basic-level First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or a higher-level equivalent).
- Be at least 16 years old on the day of the instructor course.
After registering, carefully review the instructions in your confirmation email. This blended learning course includes online content, a skills session, and classroom instruction. The online portion must be completed before attending the in-person sessions.
Accepted Base-Level Certifications:
American Red Cross (ARC), American Heart Association (AHA), and Health & Safety Institute (HSI). Certifications from other providers, including online-only courses, are not accepted.
