Park districts and recreation departments serve children, adults, athletes and older residents through fitness programs, sports leagues, camps, swimming programs and community events.

Illinois’ Physical Fitness Facility Medical Emergency Preparedness Act applies AED requirements to qualifying physical fitness facilities operated by park districts and other local government entities.
